Hudson randomly was counting to himself today and I couldn't help myself but to chuckle just a tad little bit when this is what I heard....

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, thirteen, thirteen."

L-O-L!

Birthday Cupcakes - YUM!

Hudson's first birthday celebration cupcakes for 'school' or MDO rather. I decided that I would make a sweet treat for him and his classmates to celebrate his birthday tomorrow during snack time. Chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and cute little toppers in Hudson's two favorite colors, green and orange! Can't believe our little boy will be four this Sunday!!!

Your Wish Is My Command

Our little Hudson turns FOUR years old this upcoming Sunday and our little monster decided this year that he wanted a spooky Halloween theme for his birthday party and seeing that his birthday IS so close to one of my favorite holidays from my childhood, I couldn't help but say of course! 'Your wish is my command!'

SO, we shall be having a spooktacular birthday celebration this weekend filled with creepy treats and ghoulish decor and hopefully lots of fun for everyone, but most especially the birthday boy! 

Here's a little peek of the birthday party invitation I designed for his party. I actually 'consulted' Hudson throughout the design process and this got a definite TWO GHOSTS UP rating from the birthday boy himself. 

I will try to post a picture of the finished product later, but I've just been too busy to snap a pic of them yet. I'm just glad that they got the Hudson stamp of approval!

What WAS I Thinking???

So, I accidentally stumbled upon this photo of myself from elementary school days on Facebook today when it showed up in my news feed because a friend of mine had been tagged in the photo and OMGoodness I about died when I saw myself, LOL! I am the third one from the left with the oh-so lovely denim short overalls and huge permed bouffant, ha! Such a fashion trendsetter I was!!! It looks like I was even sporting a huge handbag way back then too!!! At least I was doing something right, as for the rest of my styling, I am going to go with the excuse that I didn't know better. Yep, that's my story and I am sticking to it!!! WOW!
