Flowers and invites and dresses...oh my!

One of my closest friends, Claudia, is getting married later this year and called me earlier this week to let me know that she would be in town next month to do some wedding planning. She is actually living in Germany right now and needs all the help she can get in planning this wedding from abroad. So...she has enlisted me to unofficially assist her with her planning and I am incredibly excited to help with the details for her special day. For now, I am just compiling a list for her for reception venues, photographers, videographers, D.J.'s, bakeries, etc. so that we have a starting point. She already has her ceremony venue as they will be getting married at her fiance's church, so at least one thing is covered, but otherwise....we've got a LOT of work to do, but it's completely doable and I know that it is going to be absolutely gorgeous and one fantastically fun evening! It's going to be a fall wedding, but I don't think she will be heading in the traditional "fall-themed" route when it comes to the decor, although that decision hasn't quite been made yet either. Let the wedding planning begin!!! :)
